Lorin Salagean Technical High School prepares students in fields and qualifications asked on the labor market: Natural resources and environmental protection and Esthetics and human body hygiene, the latter being unique in the county. We think it is essential that school offer quality education and an educational offer relevant for the 21st century, with jobs required on the labor market, and this is the reason why we considered vital to give students the chance to be instructed at European level, so that they be better prepared for the future career. The aim of the project was to develop the competences and abilities of our students who come from social disadvantaged backgrounds, so that they develop personally and professionally. We wanted to offer them quality training, to stimulate and motivate them to learn and to develop, so that they keep up with the requirements and changes on the labor market, to understand the seriousness of work as employee and to learn at the workplace. As for the school, we wanted to implement this project so that we can improve the VET quality, to ensure the transfer of learning results with the aid of European certification instruments and to promote an inclusive education and the European values.
