Background

The purpose of the project was generated by the need to have teachers trained to support the insertion of IPT graduates into the labor market, through the cooperation between all factors: school/employers/parents/unions, to establish the professional path of each young person and to ensure the transition from school to work. The theme of the project is current and also important resulting from PLAI, where, in Bucharest, the placement rate of IPT graduates is quite low, there are a lot of unemployed people, the ratio of young people aged 14-24 years old is 27.7%, compared to 14.6%, 10 years ago, young people with a low level of training have the largest share, the labor market offering a small number of jobs for them. The SWOT analysis carried out in Bucharest regarding the insertion of IPT graduates identified the causes that determine the low insertion rate, some of which can be remedied by local measures: the involvement of schools in teacher professional training projects/participation in job shadowing activities with European partners to take over the goods practices regarding the curricula/teaching methods/organization of practice. ISMB has experience in the implementation of European projects, financed by AN or FSE.
