The project had as main objectives the training of entrepreneurial skills, the development of both students' and teachers' spirit of initiative, stimulating their interest in personal and professional development. Although all the participating students were from profile services, the project objectives are different from each target group. Thus, for the 11th grade group of 14 students, the purpose was the development of the entrepreneurial and social skills, the increase of their self-esteem by working in European companies in order to elaborate/develop a sustainable business plan. For the 10th and 9th grade groups of 14 students, the aim was to improve the digital skills, the use of information and communication technology as well as the improvement of their communication skills through practical activities carried out at the workplace in European companies and VET institutions. For the nine participating teachers who teach the students from the services profile, the project aimed at the development of entrepreneurial, communication and digital skills focused on the students' practical learning by taking part to workshops and job-shadowing activities.
The idea of writing this project came from the examples of good practices and the partnerships concluded with various European VET institutions in the previous projects that had satisfied the educational requirements of the school.By implementing a new collaboration project with various experienced European organisations and institutions in the field of professional training,it was intended to: -increase the number of high school students who have their professional competence certification exam (level 4 qualification); -improve the students' practical skills acquired during the 4 years of high school, their correlation with the current requirements of the internal and external labour market; -optimise the educational services for the students from disadvantaged backgrounds; -increase the interest and motivation of teachers regarding their own professional training by using appropriate teaching strategies; -develop the 21st century skills:social intelligence, critical thinking, communication skills in a foreign language, the ability to adapt to new situations; -increase the socio-professional inclusion of graduates on the labour market; -develop long-term partnerships with the business environment and the European VET institutions.
