Through implementing this project, our institution aimed: 1. to develop the specific skills of our staff working with low skilled adults, including adults from Roma minority, through participating in international trainings or specific activities to multiply the results of those trainings organized by the international participants. We focused mostly on the specific skills to organize direct activities for low skilled adults and the skills of training the specialists working with low skilled adults. 2. to develop and test one methodology for adult training adapted for low skilled adults and a training methodology for the specialists working with low skilled adults.
The implementation of this project was realized in the context of the institutional need of adapting the methodology used for training the low skilled adults (for instance the participants in second chance education that develop their basic reading-writing skills, the adults from Roma minority etc.) to make this activities more effective, considering the fact that our methodology used in teachers training (activity that our specialists have more expertise) is less effective when working with low skilled adults. The beneficiaries of the educational consultancy services provided by CJRAE Vrancea requests from our counsellors specific solutions to improve their second chance programs targeting the low skilled adults, specific ways to motivate those adults to get involved in education and training, therefore we need to develop our staff specific skills in order to provide better training services and better consultancy services, more adapted to the needs of our beneficiaries.
