Objectives

GROW MORE project is a youth worker mobility organised by the principles of a contact-making event that aims to improve the organizational capacity of 8 NGOs from 8 partner countries (Romania, Lithuania, Denmark, Spain, Croatia, Latvia, Italy and Poland), by developing the capacity of international cooperation, offering space for exchange of good practices of non-formal education methods and development of new projects, between August 01, 2020 - February 28, 2021. OBJECTIVES: OB1 - To develop the competences for 24 YW to implement new non-formal education activities in the NGOs of which they belong, until the end of the 8 days of activities - Between 18.09.2020 - 27.09.2020 OB2 - To develop the YW's ability to write projects by facilitating the project writing process and submitting at least 2 new project ideas within the framework of mobility between consortium members, which will be submitted by the end of February 2021. OB3 - To promote long-term partnerships between youth NGOs in the European Union - between August 1, 2020 - February 28, 2021. Being a contact making mobility, the need addressed by this project is to create solid partnerships that, following the exchange of good practices, have common points and want to submit new projects together. Through this project we want to support the initiatives of managers / youth workers, their critical thinking process, by giving them the opportunity to develop their own projects during mobility. By increasing both quantitative and qualitative international collaborations we aim to promote diversity, interculturality, promotion of common values, tolerance and respect for human rights, critical thinking and youth initiatives. We aim to achieve the above objectives by: Supporting youth workers who participated in mobility to share new knowledge and information both with their colleagues and with other youth workers from other NGOs during Open Space sessions. In this sessions participants from each country will have the chance to share with the group a method / theme from its area of expertise. We will also contribute to the achievement of the project objectives by developing new projects within the partnership, in order to increase the number of young participants in the activities carried out by the partner NGOs. This is taken into account during the 7 project writing sessions within mobility. During these sessions participants will be able to go through the process of writing a project by using the Problem Tree method in order to find solutions for the novices identified in their communities. In this project we want to identify common challenges of the organizations within the partnership in order to generate new project ideas. Each organization has certain strengths and weaknesses and through this project we want to facilitate the process of exchange of best practices between partners in order to find solutions to the needs of each community, enhancing the know-how held by the consortium. We aim that this project will contribute to the consolidation of the capacity and international dimension of the 8 partner organizations by increasing cooperation and communication between them and among other stakeholders.
