The project "Green solutions for green revolution" consisting of a training of Youth Workers and a Youth Exchange was implemented between 01.06.2020-31.12.2021 with the mobility of training between 22.08 - 01.09.2021 and that of exchange during 19.09-29.09.2021 in Craiova, Romania. The project promoted, through non-formal education, the specific objectives of Erasmus + by involving the direct beneficiaries in activities to raise awareness of climate change and their long-term impact on community resources and the environment. The methods of transmitting information and knowledge were developed using non-formal methods (Living Newspaper, Design Thinking, Labyrinth Theater), the direct beneficiaries were receptive and interested in the activities in which they participated, understanding in this way that traveling by car in a Small town is neither the healthiest nor the most useful. In the interaction of the young participants with other young people in the community, they tried to present them the option to travel "on foot" to exercise or the option "by bike" to have a healthy body and a community with less carbon emissions. During the activities, intercultural dialogue was promoted, the development of skills for the correct detection of unhealthy circumstances related to the environment. Following the training, 35 Youth Workers were trained to apply non-formal education methods in working with young people in the community as tools for transmitting a healthy environmental education to raise awareness of current environmental issues, to maintain and develop a "green community". By participating in activities, both the Youth Workers and the young participants in the youth exchange developed their communication skills and teamwork, as well as confidence in their own decisions in solving situations related to the protection of the environment and ecosystems. The direct beneficiaries of this project were 35 youth workers and 42 young participants from the 5 organizations: Greece, Spain, Serbia and 2 from Romania, for 11 days. The objectives of the Training were: 1. Training of 35 Youth Workers by applying 3 methods of non-formal education, used as tools to promote a healthy ecological education to increase awareness of current environmental issues for a healthy community, over a period of 11 days. 2. Developing the skills of the 35 Youth Workers to use the three methods (Theater Labyrinth, DesignThinking, Living Newspaper) and to carry out activities on climate change and solutions to reduce them suitable for young people with reduced opportunities, from the 5 participating organizations . 3. Creation and maintenance by the 35 Youth Workers of a Networking Network for the implementation of the 3 methods of non-formal education used on climate change. Youth Exchange Goals: 1 Awareness of the effects of climate change and promotion of a healthy ecological education for 42 young people from the 5 participating organizations. 2 Developing the skills of the 42 young participants in the project to detect and correct those unhealthy circumstances regarding the environment in order to have a clean community. 3 Promoting intercultural dialogue, social inclusion and tolerance through the use of climate change content and structures for 42 young people from 5 countries. 4. Developing communication skills, working in a team and having confidence in their own decisions in situations related to environmental and ecosystem protection for 42 young people from the 5 organizations. The activities designed within this project focused on promoting inclusion and equal opportunities by involving 12 young people with reduced opportunities in the Youth Exchange by creating a non-formal framework for their inclusion.
