Objectives

The seven days long youth exchange aimed to raise awareness of the problem of bullying in 2 low-risk (Macedonia and Italy), 2 medium-risk (Spain and Lithuania), and 2 high-risk (Portugal and Romania) countries. Finally Italy had to withdraw due to the Russo-Ukrainian war and they were replaced by Romanian Youth. Additionally, the project also wanted to develop a solution to combat bullying in an effective way. The program also aimed to promote the rejection of bullying and to educate students from the high schools of Cristuru Secuiesc on how to deal with bullying. In order to achieve these, the organizers utilized an online questionnaire, created and promoted six stop-motion videos, and organized group discussions with actual students. The host organization also wanted to provide an opportunity for the participants to learn about the stop-motion technique when it comes to video making. Throughout the mobility, there were six short videos created with this technique. These videos were used and shared in order to raise awareness and promote the youth exchange. Along with the skills related to video making, the participants had the opportunity to develop new or enhance already existing competencies related to the eight key competencies which can have a positive effect in their daily life, education, work, or even in the distant future. The program also aimed to provide a platform for 36 young people, including 16 that faced disadvantages or was affected by bullying in their daily life, from six different countries to engage in intercultural dialogues and get to know other cultures. Finally there were only five countries, and 35 participants because Italy could not come. and there were 22 youth with fewer opportunities, not just 16. The involvement of participants who were affected by bullying allowed the other participants to hear their stories and learn from them. On the other hand, those who were victims had a chance to share their experiences and helped in the development of potential solutions.
