By implementing this project we intended to achieve the following objectives: improving the professional skills for the trainees in the field of forestry and logging for integration into the labor market in the country and in Europe improving language skills adaptability to a new work and life environment the ability to work in mixed teams the ability to comply with European rules and values adopting a green attitude in environmental behavior
We applied for this project because the Transylvania Forest High School in Nasaud benefited from accreditation for the period 2014-2020. The number of approved mobility was 16 for two flows in France at MFR Javols and the educational consortium Jyvaskyla from Finland. The aim of this VET mobility project was to improve the forestry skills of our students in order to have more chances of integration into the labor market in the country and in Europe based on the Europass certificate that specified the competences acquired during the internship. At the same time, the implementation of an Erasmus plus project of VET mobilities represents a recognition of our school among the specialized schools in the country as well as appreciation from the educational, local decision-makers, of the parents through the greater attractiveness of the graduates of the gymnasium for forestry school in Nasaud, appreciation from the Educational County Board Bistrita-Nasaud as well as a better visibility of our school among the specialized schools in the country and in Europe that we were facing in competitions of competences in domestic and international forestry.
