By implementing this project we wanted to achieve: - the acquisition of learning outcomes (knowledge, skills and attitudes) for 56 students in initial training for the qualification technician in economic activities, technician organizing banqueting, technician in tourism and technician in trade, high school class XI, level 4 to improve their personal development for employment but also opportunities on the European labor market - increasing the ability to adapt to different professional, social and cultural environments, through language training activities and cultural activities in Spain, Cyprus and Portugal of the 56 students, thus considerably strengthening the linguistic and intercultural skills of the participants; - the development of linguistic skills in Spanish, Italian and Portuguese for the 56 participants in the context of practicing the profession for which they are being qualified and acquiring specialized terms specific to the job; -consolidating ties at national and international level in order to develop cooperation between the workplace and school, increasing the attractiveness and quality of VET and creating a European area of cooperation in the field of VET
Following a SWOT analysis in January 2020, together with the project team we identified the needs at the level of our institution: - low professional skills and knowledge limited to 30% of the qualifications technician in ec, trade activities, technician in gastronomy, technician in tourism, a fact that does not allow them to adapt to the new requirements of the labor market in the European community, facing a mobility low occupational. -low personal skills and social skills in 30% of them, evident in the low presence in finding a job easily; -a small number of collaborations of our institution with organizations active in the educational field and companies and agents active in the economic field, tourism and food in the country and in Europe, which cannot lead to the achievement of quality cooperation in the VET field. We found that the needs of the institution can be satisfied through this project, the purpose of which will be the development of professional and personal skills for 56 students, the qualifications of technician in economic activities, trade, banqueting technician, technician in tourism, level 4, qualification in order to increase employment opportunities on the labor market.
