Through the implementation of this project, we wanted to offer quality professional training in real working conditions for a number of 50 students, from the "services" profile, the qualifications: technician in economic activities, technician in tourism, technician in public food, technician in the food industry. The specific objectives of the project were: - the acquisition, during 3 weeks of practice in real working conditions, of new professional skills specific to the professional qualification by the 50 participants. - facilitating learning at the workplace for 50 participants, students of the Rm. Valcea Economic College. - the acquisition of new life skills that will ease the transition from school to the workplace for the 50 participants. - the acquisition of new professional skills by the 4 practical teachers regarding the organization of practical internships
The project "Development of practical skills for the transition to the European labor market" came to meet the needs of our institution and our students for quality professional training for the European labor market. The needs of the participants were: - the need to participate in internships in European companies in order to acquire practical skills regarding hotel services, economic services and the food industry. - professional training in real working conditions within four European partners with ISO certification. - personal, a fact that will contribute to easier adaptation to any work environment and social development. - strengthening the linguistic knowledge of English, Spanish and Portuguese. The project is part of the annual strategy for the professionalization of internships for students enrolled in the services profile. The main goal was the participation of 50 students in internships in real working conditions in companies. After participating in the internships, the students have could acquire new knowledge and skills specific to the professional qualification, a fact that will facilitate their insertion on the local and European labor market in the future.
