Objectives

By realizing the project, we want to contribute to the development of the school according to the European model of education, to get involved in European trends, and to, through the mobility of students and teachers, gain new experiences that will enable us to bring teaching and learning in our school closer to the European level. The mission of the Polytechnic School is to promote and provide permanent and functional knowledge and skills, encouraging teamwork and creativity, by improving the assertive communication of students and teachers in the direct teaching process and extracurricular activities. A good way to improve the teaching process is internships in foreign companies, where teachers and students would get to know a different way of learning, teaching and working on concrete examples. One of the main goals of our school is the development of awareness of the importance of the European dimension of education, as well as the international connection of the school through exchanges, training and professional practice of students, exchange of ideas and professional training of teachers. We are convinced that the acquisition of new experiences, the development of students' language competences and networking during their mobility, both in the short term and in the long term, give an advantage and offer great opportunities, not only to the participants, but also to the institution.

Background

One of the main goals of our school is the development of awareness of the importance of the European dimension of education, as well as the international connection of the school through exchanges, training and professional practice of students, exchange of ideas and professional training of teachers. In the process of education, we enable students to acquire theoretical and practical knowledge and skills, through practical individual tasks we develop the creativity of each individual, we train students for employment, but also for the successful continuation of further education and training. We believe that our previous international experience is insufficient to modernize the school through the integration of European educational experiences, that is why our institution applied for the Erasmus+ project. The team for European cooperation consists of teachers of professional subjects, an English teacher, and the main coordinator of the project is Natalija Trbović Toljagić, professor of Serbian literature and language. Along with the coordinator, school director Iso Planić also provides great support in the realization of the project.
