Improving the quality, diversity and content of practical teaching is a need and we make project activities based on it. Teachers enrich ideas for their work and find new methods and ways of realizing practical classes. Ideas for organizing school sections and additional extracurricular work with students are opening up. Teachers are involved in the process of lifelong learning. The ultimate idea of the project is that our students train for a segment in their profession and adapt their skills to current needs of the labor market after school and as such well-trained staff with European experience and knowledge be a good promotion both for themselves and for the school in which they acquired the necessary knowledge and experience.
We applied for the project in order to improve the knowledge and skills of our students and improve the professional knowledge of our teachers. It is especially important that students and teachers get the opportunity to acquire knowledge and skills that they cannot acquire through seminars and education and practical work in our country. Students of the catering department - waiters and cooks, would get specific practice and knowledge of foreign cuisine and ways of serving in another country. Students, fashion designers, would try a different model of sewing and making clothing and sports equipment. Students of economics would get acquainted with the work of marketing teams in Portugal and all together after their return they would apply the acquired knowledge in our school. Also, one of the reasons for applying is the constant training of our teachers. Teachers of practical classes especially need training because they can hardly get it in our country as standard seminars. All of the above leads to an improvement in the quality of our school's work, and thus in better quality classes and teaching in general, which will result in a good enrollment of new students.
