Our main goal was the internationalization of the school in order to increase the capacity of school to operate trans-nationally. We wanted to develop a network with mechanical vocational schools in Europe. We have achieved this, because our partner school included us in a strategic project where we built partnerships with mechanical vocational schools in France, Spain and Denmark. We aimed to upgrade competences and skills of the staff, which was accomplished and their experience was transferred to the colleagues and learners. The teacher wanted to be introduced to new tools and technology and improve the methodology and tools used in practical classes and training. We needed this to develop new teaching programs for Life Long learning The overall goal is harmonization of the education program and activities in our school with the European area of education, through best practice, experience exchange and joint development of teaching and training methodology in vocational institutions.
Erasmus+ Program has many opportunities for improvement of the education system and our goal was to start benefiting for it. As an overall gain from this project we see the internationalization of our school. Pancevo has become one of the centers for auto industry with the openings of International auto companies such as ZF and Brose and we recognized the need to prepare first of all our teachers in this project and after in upcoming projects students for the expectation of international companies by learning on the spot what is that they expect from the educated vocational students in this field. We were invited by the Italian schools to participate in an event promoting the Erasmus+ program in Italy, where we developed a strong partnership which has resulted in this first small project but as well as another strategic project we are already implementing with them. This project was our base for further improvement of educational methodology in our school with a goal to help employability. This kind of learning is more attractive, with new forms of learning and the use of new teaching and learning technologies for both teacher and students. This project brings us the joy of joining European educational space.
