Objectives

By implementing this projects activities we wanted to improve our teaching with tourism and hospitality students" practice considering it is the key area in their learning. We wanted to improve our learning outcomes and those learning certificates they received about doing practice abroad students will become more competitive workers in the market. Considering the fact that they did their practice at the very centre od tourism they had the chance to organize and form itineraries and tourism offers that were far different than those in our country, where package holidays are mostly sold as third parties product. We wanted to raise their digitals kills level and to motivate them to use all available digital skills both in their personal lives as well as their professional. In this way they gained competences and are trained to work in real situations after they finish school.

Background

We applied for this project because there had been an urgent need in the last ten years for adjusting our practice with the European values and common strategies. Our school needs are improving practical knowledge of tourism and hospitality knowledge to feel the right working environment and not only stimulated one and in this way gain necessary knowledge for their future jobs. After the mobility students will be capable to transfer their knowledge, experience and skills to all the students in our school including students with fewer possibilities. Students will express their knowledge in a creative way and use digital tools.
