Objectives

We carried out two types of activities. Student mobilities (Mobility of VET learners) and job shadowing for staff (staff training abroad).

Background

The most important result was that, despite covid-19, we managed to send many students on internships abroad, which contributed to the development of their language skills but also contributed to their growth as persons, and that the perceived distance between Sweden and other countries became much smaller for them. The students also reflected a lot on the differences they encountered, both in terms of how you worked, in which work environment, and how they were received by other people. The staff who went on job shadowing came back with a better understanding and new knowledge of how their respective professions are practiced in another country.
