Objectives

By means of this project LUSA wanted to: 1. Continue working to entrench LUSA as European knowledge repository för research, development, and education in the aeronautical sciences. 2. Continue to spread awareness of our organization in European aviation space. 3. Keep our focus outward and maintaining the possibility of creating strategic and professional networks. 4. The ability to collect international experiences and cement LUSA:s relevance while contributing to labour movement in the European Union. 5. Creating future possibilities for teachers and students due to the bonds and relationships created by the ERASMUS programme. 6. A way for LUSA to continue being an progressive education organization that continually finds and evaluates educational methods and opportunities for development.

Background

Due to our previous experiences from the projects 2016 and 2018 it was more or less a certainty that we would apply for ERASMUS 20202. When we submitted our application, 20202-02-11, the world had yet to experience the enormous repercussions that the spread of a virus named CORONA would bring. The virus had devastating effects for everyone but as an industry aviation was particularly hit and was practically shut down during the crisis. However, in February of 2020 LUSA was still in good spirits and had plans for expanding its cooperation with Tromsö university in Norway and was continuing to deepen its connections with flight schools in central Europe
