In today's world, one of the most important problems that most people have been aware of or have ignored and ignored in recent years is the problems that refugees face. People are prejudiced against refugees because of the policies of countries that are not effective enough on this issue and the media not working actively, and many refugees are deprived of their rights such as health, education and housing and are left with their destiny. In recent years, the number of people who have been forced to leave their homes due to violence, conflict and persecution has been increasing worldwide and this increase is remarkable in Europe. People who have to flee from wars and internal conflicts in North Africa and the Middle East want to immigrate to Europe and get rid of this chaos. Although the number of refugees and asylum seekers in Europe has increased significantly in recent years, the European Union is still refraining from implementing a common policy on this issue. Refugees are exposed to thirst, hunger and economic hardship before and during migration, and these problems are followed by exclusion, prejudice, health and economic problems in the countries where they migrate. For this reason, most refugees do not have sufficient rights to each individual because they are human. These problems, which most people do not care or ignore today, cause unforgettable and deep pain for refugees. Based on these data, we saw that the refugee problem is of great importance both in our country and in Europe and the studies on this problem are not sufficient. For this reason, in our project, we dealt with the refugee problem in our country and in the world, the policies pursued by the countries towards it, the behaviors of the communities and the state towards the refugees and the prejudices that exist. Thus, at the end of the project, the participants raised awareness about the refugee problems and they were more sensitive towards the refugees. They recognized prejudices that polarize people in society and increase interpersonal empathy. Our main objective within the scope of the project was increasing awareness of people about refugee incidents that have become a universal problem in recent years. The specific objectives of our project were as follows: 1- To develop new solutions for refugees' problems by increasing the knowledge of young people 2- To introduce good practice examples for refugees to young people 3- To reduce the prejudice of young people and local people towards refugees 4- To encourage young people to intercultural learning
