Although primary school is a formal education, our school has been well aware of the importance of informal education for a long time, especially two-way intergenerational learning that can lift the quality of teaching and transfer of learning at school. With this project, we wanted to establish regular intergenerational education in both ways, from younger colleagues to older ones and vice versa.
Due to a very noticeable generation gap and disconnection, even disagreements among our staff, the main goal of our project Generation X, Y, Z: working and learning together, was to gain and spread the knowledge that would enable mutual cohesion of different stakeholders at our school, no matter their age, beliefs, values, opinion, needs, etc.
