The project aimed to focus on developing new learning methods and approaches, adapting to the coming generations and the environment in which they will live and work. We set ourselves specific objectives, which we have tried to achieve. These are: to involve the management of the institution directly in international cooperation, so that they personally participate in at least 5 of the 21 planned mobilities; to encourage those teachers who have not yet been abroad to participate in an international mobility, so that of the 21 mobilities carried out, at least 7 would participate in their first mobility; systematically carry out dissemination events, introduce new approaches to teaching, reflect in a holistic way on different approaches to teaching, leading to an international conference in 2022, build an international network of cooperation, which would make it possible to recruit 20 participants for the summer seminars.
After five years of Erasmus+ mobility projects, in summer 2019 we undertook a more comprehensive analysis of the impact of project involvement at the level of St. Stanislav's Institute. This process coincided with the final steps in adopting a new vision for the Institute for the next 5 years, where we set out our plan for international cooperation to systematically work with schools and other institutions at home and abroad, and to integrate the experience, knowledge and skills gained through cooperation and training into the Institute's own activities. Based on an analysis of surveys of the last 4 generations of school leavers and the last 2 generations of primary school pupils, supported by a longitudinal study of all generations of school leavers, and an analysis of reflections on all completed and ongoing international projects, we have identified four core needs of the Institute in the international field. Those are: increasing the involvement of all teaching staff in international activities, increasing the awareness of the internationality of their environment among teachers and students, increasing contacts with the international environment and adapting teaching methods to the changed circumstances in the world, and increasing the international visibility of the institution as an educational institution. These findings prompted us to apply for the project and to design it in such a way that it would address the needs highlighted by the institution.
