Through international cooperation in the project Learning can be a game we wanted to respond to the needs of our school, which also correspond to the priorities of the school: - modernization of educational work and improvement of teaching through innovative methods, which include the implementation of the game in all lesson stages; - internationalization of the school - the path to excellence (Erasmus+ projects become part of the school's annual work plan - application of new projects, implementation of international projects, raising the quality of education, implementation of innovations, developing intercultural skills...); - raising teachers' motivation to implement different methods of education and to improve the knowledge of foreign languages; - developing a positive attitude towards multilingualism and interculturality in our school and local community, as well as developing a positive attitude towards diversity in the school collective; - increasing the school recognition at the local, national and international level, as well as connecting with other institutions at these levels.
We wanted to: - Gain the experience of international cooperation with partners who share a common vision with us: the use and development of new teaching methods that respond to the needs of the 21st century students, which also includes working within the framework of eTwinning and developing ICT skills. The focus was on the game - interesting and engaging games for students that can be implemented at all stages of the lesson: engagement, knowledge acquisition, knowledge consolidation, evaluation/assessment. - Become acquainted with the Erasmus+ program or the possibilities of international cooperation within the framework of general education (during the project application phase, we attended CMEPIUS workshops and reviewed the Program Guide and Guide for Evaluators, while also looking for potential future partners through eTwinning and School Education Gateway Portals). - Promote the development of skills and competences of the school management and teachers for participation in international projects and creation of future projects.
