We wanted to learn about innovative teaching methods, test innovative methods in practice and ensure more varied lessons and explore new ways of working with pupils outside the classroom (in nature), upgrade the use of ICT in working with pupils in the classroom. In addition, we wanted to acquire a wide range of skills to foster motivation in students and put them into practice. We wanted simple techniques to improve attention and concentration in the classroom. We wanted to strengthen collaboration between students and raise their awareness of creative and critical thinking, using different media and digital literacy. We wanted to meet teachers from other EU countries and exchange good practice, ideas, intercultural learning and build a network for further international cooperation. We wanted to enliven the classroom, introduce new methods and present them to colleagues as examples of good practice. At the same time, we expected the mobility to provide additional motivation for work and the development of new competences in the field of teaching practice. We expected that the satisfaction of the participants would have a positive impact on the teachers themselves, the motivation of pupils and the cooperation within the school.
We wanted to create a better quality school, enabling pupils to learn new skills. We as employees wanted to experience a new, additional professional training in a different way, which we have not had before. The knowledge we gained was intended to make teachers more motivated, satisfied, confident and professionally equipped. In our organisation, we wanted to develop new teaching methods and techniques, new ways of using ICT, to develop competences in learning to learn, innovation, entrepreneurship, literacy and critical thinking. We wanted to encourage more motivated pupils through new and more modern teaching methods. We wanted to improve communication in a foreign language, learn about good teaching practice in a country where English is a native language and improve communication with/among students in our classroom. One teacher wanted to go on an educational visit abroad, where she could gain new experience in working with forestry issues and pass on her new knowledge to her colleagues in her team and her students. We wanted to learn about new tools and how to use them effectively, as well as to expand our knowledge in video and audio production. We wanted to enrich our lessons and inspire students to use new technologies.
