We considered the project as a rudimentary part of the internationalization of our school, the project being an upgrade of our efforts in working with students and teachers who should learn about the special fields of telecommunications as well as economics, management, marketing and entrepreneurship for their professional development. We wanted to enable the participants to enrich the language of the profession and practical communication in foreign languages. With the help of mobility, the students should also grow personally and gain some experience in the field of learning about culture and cultural differences, as well as self-confidence. We also wanted to encourage people and thus attain a positive momentum and a desire for something more, such as a positive attitude towards learning, not only among the student participants, but also among the other students who educate themselves at our school. We wanted to offer the participants the opportunity to work abroad as part of the PUD (short internship) and thereby obtain a Europass certificate. By participating in mobility, teachers should gain new knowledge in the field of entrepreneurship, learn new methods of working in the classroom, which they will afterwards be able to implement in lessons. We also strived to improve digital competences, raise awareness, self-sufficiency, resulting in a green economy and, of course, find a connection between professional theoretical knowledge and a unique life experience.
Our institution is aware of the fact that quality improvement is only possible through the internationalization of both students and teachers. Constant evaluation of development goals and actual needs is also necessary. For the purpose of the school's participation in the European plan, every year the school conducts an analysis of the needs of students and employees. In this analysis, we try to define our weak areas which we would like to improve in the following years. We are trying to connect all areas of development with the Europe 2020 strategy (also E+). I believe that our constant participation in E+ is a good indication of the state of our school in the European educational process, of the ceaseless striving for quality education and digtalisation. Furthermore, we also wish to become an important part in the European space, namely in the field of environmental preservation and green Europe. Every demonstration of the participation of students and teachers in various E+ projects increases enrollment at our school and reduces student dropouts. Involvement in projects enables teachers and other employees of ŠC PET to improve vital competences and skills. The connection of related programs of partner schools enables the mobility of teachers and thus, of course, the flow of knowledge and ideas in E+. Active participation in the creation of the European educational process still remains our desire and goal.
