The most important goals: - Improvement of the general and professional competences of the participants: with special attention for students with special needs. - Internationalization: the goal was to achieve at least a 15% increase of internationalization. - Raising the professional level of staff in the field of new technologies and different teaching methods. - Strengthening intercultural competences: we have to be prepared for the increasing immigration. It all starts with the teachers, who must set an example for the students. We are aware that mobilities significantly contribute to acquisition of this competence. - Getting to konw new technologies. - Strengthening entrepreneurship among all participants.
Lifelong education and training is crucial for an individual's career as well as personal development. By participating in the Erasmus+ program, we want to enable students and school staff to acquire new knowledge, experience and competences. During the implementation of the project the students were doing vocational training in companies. The staff of the school strengthened their competences and knowledge during the implementation of the On-the-job training activity (job shadowing). Everyone also strengthened their awareness of the European Union, improved cultural competences. As a school, we are aware of the importance of internationalization, so we had this goal in mind when applying for the Erasmus+ project. All participants who took part in the project, the activities in which they participated, prepared them for life and work in intercultural environments. And today, when we see how cultures mix, how important dialogue is, accepting those who think differently, it is absolutely necessary to get involved in these kinds of activities, which enable us to make every individual (and also the institution) ready for these changes.
