Students’ education is definitely an important factor in encouraging successful economic development, which cannot be attained without close collaboration and mutual exchange between school and economic sectors. The project objectives are multi-faceted and are expected in various areas, such as gaining key job and language competencies, improvement of the school staff qualifications and the levels of teaching, acquisition of general competencies, decrease in inequality, fostering gender equality, fairness, raising awareness about the importance of life-long learning for students as well as teachers, increase in the quality and the scope of collaboration between organizations and development of long-term collaboration within the mobility projects as well as the enhancement of the quality of the mobility projects, increase in motivation for work and studies, boosting employment opportunities for young people.
The strategic plan of our school stems from the assumption that the modern educational courses should ensure, in addition to the subject-specific competencies, primarily interdisciplinarity and multidisciplinarity as well as the intake of key competencies, all of which allows students to successfully integrate and learn within diverse working environments once they graduate. Our school incessantly strives for the enhancement of such collaboration at local, national and international levels and it develops entrepreneurship and internationalization of the school. Our ambition is to transfer the opportunities of observing the cutting-edge practices and examples of good practice applied in the companies and other organisations abroad into our local environment, thus encouraging the development of creative solutions to the problems and challenges our local environment poses. Another objective that needs to be addressed, in our opinion, is the raise of students’ motivation for education. The work experience in a foreign country sets an important milestone in students’ lives.
