Objectives

We wanted to give students an insight into working abroad, learn about other cultural and social values, acquire communication skills, develop team-work, gain autonomy and prepare for a successful transition into a further life path, transfer their experiences to their peers. We want them to develop perseverance and patience and tolerance for diversity. We want to encourage the students of our school to be self-motivated and motivated to learn and, consequently, to successfully complete their education. We want to encourage more students with a tailored programme and students with fewer opportunities to participate. We want professional staff with activities abroad to pass on new expertise to professional assets, managers of other professional assets, to the management of the school. We want to update the methods of work, prepare updated teaching materials for professional subjects. We want to include new professional content intosubjects of open curriculum. We presented our colleagues the school system of partner countries. We want to present the leaders of practical instruction and practical training at the school to the way schools and businesses work together abroad and to achieve closer cooperation with local employers.

Background

Our school has set itself the goal of developing on a European scale. At school we want to maintain quality education with quality teaching equipment, teaching materials and modern teaching methods of work comparable at European level. By working with foreign educational institutions, organisations and economies, we can incorporate better quality content into our educational process, enable a better quality learning process and maintain a low percentage of early school leaving. We want to enable students to develop into personalities that will help them integrate into the labour market at home or abroad. By working abroad, they develop their professional and personality competences, become independent personalities through independent decision-making and initiatives, develop language and communication skills. By integrating and adapting to a different cultural and social environment, they develop an understanding and tolerance of diversity. We want to give professionals an insight into professional learning content and follow progress at European level. We are aware of importance of working with companies that are still not achieving satisfactory results in our local community that are comparable to other European countries.
