Objectives

With the project, we wanted to: - improve student and staff professional/vocational competencies; - implement new methods for teaching and training students in practical subjects; - learn new knowledge about professional content in forestry, nursing and carpentry which we don't offer in our school (machine felling, hunting turism, restoration) - to get examples of good practices and to share our good practicesm (teaching od practical work) - develop key competences (communication in a foreign language, ICT); - to strengthen cooperation between our school and other quality vocation school in Europe

Background

The key areas which we wanted to improve were the key competences and skills, providing more opportunities for mobilities, enhanced cooperation between the world of education and training and the world of work, strengthening the quality of teaching, the introduction of innovations and the internationalization of curriculum, the introduction of new teaching methods and teaching tools. We also wanted to get examples of good practices and to share our good practices. We wanted to promote intercultural awareness, improve language learning and promote broad linguistic diversity, intercultural competences, and cultural awareness and expression. We also wanted to enable students from all three programmes to perform practical workbased training abroad, which provides additional motivation for learning and increased enrollment of prospective students.
