Objectives

With the project, we responded to the need for internationalization in the field of quality in our AE organizations (gaining the reputation of reliable partners in European projects). At the same time, we wanted to expand and deepen the knowledge and competences of the employees, which will enable them to further develop quality comparable to Europe. The project therefore aimed at acquiring new, in-depth knowledge and skills of the staff members of the consortium in the following areas: - various techniques used to process and interpret evaluation data, - qualitative and quantitative research methods, - planning education and educational paths of adult participants, - preparation of career plans for adult participants, - how to observe and evaluate, - planning of evaluation subjects, - creation of evaluation tools, - coding and analysis of obtained data and information. - different quality models (CAF, ISO...) The project's activities were also aimed at connecting the staff of all three organizations in the concrete planning and implementation of activities to raise the quality of work with vulnerable target groups of adults.

Background

Ljudska univerza Jesenice, UPI ljudska univerza Žalec in Zasavska ljudska univerza are all public organizations for adult education (AE), which have a quality assurance system in AE- POKI and are holders of the Green Quality Mark. The POKI system also foresees conducting exemplary visits to other organizations for AE in Slovenia. During the implementation of such visits, we paid special attention to the analysis of the possibility of further development of quality and concluded that the area of quality could be developed even better if we gained knowledge and experience on how quality in AE is ensured abroad. At the same time, we applied for the project because we realized that the integration between all three organizations would greatly contribute to the even greater quality of our programs and services, as this would contribute to innovative joint solutions. Therefore, the activities of the project were also aimed at connecting the staff of all three organizations in the concrete planning and implementation of activities to raise the quality of work with vulnerable target groups of adults.
