Objectives

During the staff mobility project, we wanted to achieve the following objectives: - TO RAISE THE LEVEL OF COMPETENCE OF THE ORGANIZATION'S EDUCATIONAL STAFF, with the development of a professional network and the transfer of knowledge and good practices in teaching abroad, - IMPROVE THE INSTITUTIONAL CAPACITIES OF THE ORGANIZATION AND CREATE STRATEGIC GUIDELINES for various innovative teaching methodologies to work with disadvantaged groups of participants, - TRANSFER INNOVATIVE AND FLEXIBLE APPROACHES OF MOTIVATING ADULT LEARNERS to informal education programs, with better utilization of the cultural, educational and economic opportunities of the target group, - IMPROVE THE QUALITY AND NUMBER OF EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS for learning members, - TO RAISE THE MOTIVATION AND INCREASE THE NUMBER OF LEARNING MEMBERS in the informal education programs of our organization, - TO STRENGTHEN THE INTERNATIONALIZATION OF OUR OPERATIONS and our INTERNATIONAL NETWORK to achieve WIDER EFFECTS of our activities among educators and the target group, including the creation of synergistic effects between mobility projects and other complementary projects and contents.

Background

We applied for the Second Perspectives of Knowledge mobility project to strengthen our educational staff's competencies, strengthen our organisation's international network and capacity, and raise the quality of our informal educational programs for learning immigrants from the former Yugoslavia. The quality of our programs is related to the need for suitable educational content, tools and methodologies to performe. Above all, it is associated with the lack of awareness of learners about the importance of lifelong education, which is related to the use of appropriate approaches to increase their motivation for education. With mobility projects, we overcome the lack of appropriate strategies and good practices in the field of non-formal education of minority members. By transferring good practices and knowledge from abroad to the educational staff, we are establishing a proactive approach that removes obstacles for members to integrate into education programs and contributes to their social integration. In doing so, we pursue the development strategy of our Institute Burja, which is based on a needs analysis, with the guidelines and trends recommended by various European and national documents of the relevant institutions.
