Objectives

The project enabled the students and accompanying staff to acquire new professional knowledge, follow innovations in the field of profession, and gain new social experiences and social skills.

Background

The High School of Pharmacy, Cosmetics and Healthcare from Ljubljana joined the Erasmus+ project - shortherm mobility of VET and staff in vocational and professional education, as we want to enable our students, participants in adult education and employees a modern way of acquiring knowledge and work practices. We see the mobility of students and employees as an investment in knowledge, an opportunity to develop competences in various areas of work, they contribute to personal growth and development, while also developing belonging to Europe and the world. Our two-year project 2020 - 2022 was unfortunately interrupted by the Covid 19 epidemic, which forced us to stop mobility. The Covid 19 epidemic hit our school hard, as we are the only school in the country that educates for the professions we practice, which consequently means that we have many students witch drive to school everyday and students in student dormitories. As a result, students were more exposed to infections and because of that, the school was among the first to close again in January 2022 due to an extraordinary increase in infections and the inability to provide classes. With the improvement of the epidemiological situation, we started with the re-establishment of the Erasmus + network. Due to the emergency situation, we requested an extension of the project for 6 months, which was also approved. Also in 2021, there was a change in the coordinator of international cooperation, as only she was elected as the new headmistress of the school, upon the retirement of the previous headmistress.
