Besides promoting international mobilities for students and staff, one of the main goals of the Move2Learn project was to increase competitiveness, as the current situation in the labour market confronts us with a fast technological progress. Nowadays, the acquisition of practical experience, informal competences and skills have become a necessity. The knowledge of foreign languages has become a key skill for competitiveness in the global world. For this reason, all the above mentioned activities were provided to students and staff in foreign partner organizations. The project team has connected with the teachers of practical training and the management of the centre in order to follow the strategic goals stated in the Strategy, one of the main goals being providing a quality development of the centre, as well as increasing the attraction and the competitiveness of the SCNG as a reliable partner in the field of VET at home and abroad, providing competitiveness of learners and staff in the labour market in Slovenia and abroad, as well as an intensive internationalization on the level of students, teachers and the school on a local, regional and national level. Within the framework of international mobilities, the School Centre Nova Gorica wanted to deepen long-term partnerships with partner organizations, as well as to acquire new ones in order to provide quality VET for learners and staff. In addition to promoting the mobilities of students, special attention was paid to staff, mainly due to the formation of new educational processes, the introduction of new pedagogical approaches, methods and methodologies for the implementation of curricula in accordance with the economy of the future.
The main goal of the project MOVE2Learn (Vocational Education Learning) was to promote international mobilities for students, as well as staff of the School Centre Nova Gorica. The name of the project itself indicates a shift from daily routine in order to learn something new. The participants of the mobilities had the chance to gain new knowledge through the Erasmus+ programme, which is one of the important topics of the European internationalization strategy. With a wide network of foreign partnerships, we pursued the goals of the Strategy in all units of the School Centre Nova Gorica and enabled the participants of our organization an international experience.
