We want to equip young people for life in the future by developing the competences they will need for future jobs. In addition to subject-specific knowledge, creativity, lateral thinking, adaptability, and initiative will be desired. Social, communication, entrepreneurship, and cultural competences will be valued. The aim of mobility projects is to acquire appropriate competences for the future labour market and promotion of VET. By developing international cooperation, we become more attractive to future students, as they can do practical training abroad within their regular work. We provide our students and staff with opportunities to participate in international conferences and competitions. Those increase employment opportunities for students in the future. The experience in the field of work of our employees is transferred to colleagues as knowledge and raises the quality of work with students to a higher level. Quality implementation of mobility brings validation to the participant and more lasting results. International cooperation is crucial for recognition, bringing a European dimension and modern teaching techniques. One of the important factors for successful further development of work in schools is cooperation in an international environment. Recognition, higher quality of the educational process, and consequently a positive climate among participants in education is the goal that we wish to achieve at ŠC Kranj. In the past, we have successfully carried out and completed five mobility projects in the field of VET within the Lifelong Learning and Erasmus+ programs. The projects were related to the field of sustainable development, awareness-raising, the development of practical training with work, entrepreneurship, the development of technology-supported teaching methods and learning platforms, and promotion of technical professions. We applied for the project to continue the successful story of previous projects. We expand our partnership network with each successful application for a project, but only the experience of the students and staff decides whether the partner will also be added to the list of quality, those with whom we will cooperate in the future.
