The project follows the objectives of the internationalisation strategy and the development plan of BIC Ljubljana. Participation in the Erasmus programme is a reflection of the school's commitment to international activities, promoting intercultural understanding and creating an inclusive learning environment. During the mobility, participants have the opportunity to build on their theoretical knowledge, link it to practice and gain life experience abroad (working in an unfamiliar environment, adapting, establishing communication, teamwork). - mobility is an opportunity for students to find themselves in a new environment and to build on their competences - raising the professional profile of teaching staff and raising their general proffesional motivation - promote quality in the educational process - the project keeps us in touch with current and new knowledge, tests our own competence - updating the curriculum - sharing our own examples of good practice with others - practical training abroad enables the integration of professional and soft skills and competences - inclusion and opportunities for students from socially disadvantaged backgrounds.
We have been successfully participating in Erasmus+ for 20 years. It has allowed us to deepen our cooperation with our long-standing partners, providing quality learning places for students and quality training for staff, as well as finding new partners and expanding our international network to stay relevant and competent on the labour market. We are updating the content of our curricula based on our experience abroad. Cooperation with educational organisations leads us to various examples of good practice in the introduction of modern teaching and learning methods, encouraging creativity and innovation in students by developing specific teaching methods as well as the development of key competences. Mobility raises the professional profile of teaching staff and thus the quality of the educational process. Placements abroad allow the integration of professional and soft competences. Individuals develop on a personal level and the quality of education is also developed.
