By holding the international youth exchange Green vibes only, we wanted to encourage young people all over Europe and other participants in the project to think deeply and creatively about the ecological crisis, a topic that at the time of applications (before the COVID-19) triggered a real wave of prostests of young people. Greta Thunberg was also an inspiration to our youth, who organized themselves in the all-Slovenian movement Youth for Climate Justice and advocates for changes in national environmental laws, with a special emphasis on climate change, which is important for our Šaleška valley (TEŠ 6, Premogovnik Velenje, large companies). Through the project, we were looking for sustainable solutions in an unconventional, creative way, and at the same time these types of projects are always important, so that young people get informal education, strengthen their competences, connect with each other, look at socially current topics critically and still look for solutions, contribute to awareness, improve knowledge of foreign languages and destroy possible prejudices between countries, nations, religious, racial, gender differences. That they are aware of European values and try to live in accordance with them. Such projects are also a good promotion of all programs and projects offered by the EU.
