With the project Sustainable Circus, we want to explore practical ways of sustainability through circus media and circus pedagogy at the level of local environment (inclusion of inhabitants, use of natural, re-used materials, ecological approach towards nature), at the level of relation to one's body (self-care, holistic approaches, everyday life, professionalism) and at the level of interpersonal relationships (community building, deepening relationships, learning communication). The main objectives of the project are to raise awareness and enhance the perception of the individual's integrity, to promote reflection on sustainable, alternative, continuous ways of creating and coexisting, to create social spaces between different cultural and social groups, and to closely connect with the local rural community, to develop circus skills and artistic expression, to deepen the existing relations and intercultural dialogue, strengthen the international dimension of youth work.
