Through the implementation of the project, we aim to establish a space for the exchange of good practices, the setting of foundations for youth consultation, and an understanding of the mission of organizations in the youth sector. We will focus on young people being captured between their interests and desires and what the real world compels them into. We will establish discourse, connection and cooperation between all mentioned stakeholders, find new solutions, exchange proposals and good practices in this field, and above all, try to understand how we can add value to each other, while respecting the well-being of society and the environment on which such cooperations have influence. The goals of the project are to: - conduct an analysis of the situation in all participating countries (as part of the pre-activity – research of the interests of the youth, research of the opinion of youth in schools, research of the interest of the youth in job searching process) - as a main event of the project, organize a seminar for 25 people from 8 countries over the course of 5 days (including days of travel) to understand the interests of young people within education and employment systems and to look for alternative, new opportunities. The main goal will be to find the answers to the eternal question "How to understand and support young people?" - exchange ideas, find existing good practices, formulate new ones and summarize them in the guidebook for better quality further work in this field - to publish a guidebook that will be available to participating organizations as well as to all other interested institutions at home and abroad - organize an open presentation in Slovenia to present and summarize the findings of the analysis of the situation, the conclusions of the seminar, good practices collected and guidelines for further work - adaptation of youth work programs within organizations in the youth sector in at least three countries (including Slovenia) With this project, we want to encourage the continuous updating of practices and methods used in youth work and active involvement of young people in these processes.
