The implementation of the project aims to upgrade the youth street work practices of local and national organizations of the Network Young street (MMU). Its aim is also to strengthen the competences of the youth workers of MMU, raise the quality of street work performance, and gain new knowledge and experience, especially in the field of work with homeless young people, drug users and socially disadvantaged young people. It will also raise the motivation of street youth workers. A study visit to the Czech Republic will help to learn about the examples of good practices of street youth work with vulnerable young people, to present different activities, to meet current challenges, get acquainted with different ways of entering new environments and skills of street workers themselves. Through the study visit which will allow us to get acquainted with the experiences of street youth workers and organizations involved in youth street work in the Czech Republic, we aim to indirectly raise the quality of the implementation of youth street work by MMU organizations and to target socially vulnerable young people in our activities. The goals of the project are: Conducting a preparatory meeting for 20 Slovenian study visit participants. Carrying out a 5 day study visit of Czech organizations implementing street work with young people for 20 Slovenian and 10 Czech participants in September 2020. Collect notes of the participants about the content and insights from the study visit, within 14 days after the study visit. Performing two evaluation activities, an online evaluation questionnaire and a final evaluation meeting. The evaluation questionnaire will be filled in by the participants on the last day of the study visit, and we will have an evaluation meeting of the project team within 10 days of the study visit.
