We made things from waste for reuse, e.g. making bags out of clothes, making puzzles out of corks.

Background

We signed up for the presented project on the basis of good experience from the previous project focused on participation in trainings and courses abroad, in which 5 of our teachers participated. We planned to continue the started international education of teachers and to expand it not only in terms of the number of teachers (7), but especially to expand the issues covered. We expected that visiting foreign courses would be a challenge for colleagues to update and modernize school education programs (using various programs and procedures applied in companies) and, last but not least, they would motivate their other colleagues to increase their professional competences through self-education abroad. In addition, a successful project is always a good advertisement when recruiting new, especially professional teachers. For teachers looking for a job, it is important to know that their future employer is looking for all possible ways to enable their further professional and pedagogical growth. The participation of teachers in such a project will help them in building their career and compiling their own portfolio, which is also related to a higher salary in the future.
