Background

According to SWOT analysis of the school for the period 2020_2022 there were identified key needs of the school. The key needs were stated in European School De-velopment Plan, action plan for1-2 years.ESDP closely follows the strategy of modernizing eduactional process. In 2017 we opened the first class of bilingual study pro-gram for 24 students. The bilingual program has proven to be very successful. The school has become more internationally active by participation of 6 teachers in Eras-mus Plus.By taking part in structured courses abroad teachers developed their pofessional skills and competencies, mainly language competencies. These were imple-mented in everyday educational process.Later on,as the school opened more bilingual classes there was a need to provide a good-quality teaching in higher classes of the bilingual study program.Teachers encouraged by their first KA1 experience, asked to participate in structured courses provided by certified international institutions. In such a way teachers could develop their language skills, as well as get to know up-to -date teaching strategies and methods. There was also the need to develop anti-bullying strategies of the anti-bullying coordinator to create a safe educational environment.
