Background

In the Education for the Future II project, we focused on the needs of teaching staff, which were defined in strategic goals and specified in strategic tasks within the three pillars of the European School Development Plan EXCELLENCE - QUALITY - INNOVATION. Pedagogical staff subsequently ensured the transfer to the teaching process so that the students benefited from the results of the project. The key areas of improvement that we focused on in this project were improving the quality of teaching, elements of effective learning, teaching and learning foreign languages , and digital competencies of teachers. Pedagogical staff acquired new competencies and through them created new educational materials and implemented innovative methods in teaching. As part of the EXCELLENCE pillar, 9 teachers have expanded their key competencies and, with innovative methods using elements of effective learning, they ensure excellent teaching and, as part of extracurricular activities, they work with talented pupils who, under the QUALITY pillar, achieve success in various external measurements and competitions. We also wanted to improve the teachers' competencies in the field of foreign languages, natural science subjects, and digital technologies, but also in the field of culture and customs of the country they got to know during the mobility, thereby contributing to the fulfillment of the strategic goal of the third pillar INNOVATION. The members of the school's management improved their knowledge and conversational skills in the English language, which made it possible to establish further contacts with partners abroad, obtain accreditation for the future period and implement new projects.
