The goals of the project and the key areas of improvement had a common tendency and that is the educational process. The main mission of the CLIL integration into education mobility project was to provide teachers of the Secondary Nursing School in Lučenec with professional and personal development, improvement of language skills, and a deeper familiarity with the CLIL methodology and its application in practice. The aim of the project was to increase the effectiveness of the educational process in language teaching, to develop the language competences of professional teachers and to increase the expertise of English and German language teachers. Participation in the project represented a unique opportunity for the teacher's professional growth, enthusiasm for new knowledge, experience, attitudes, skills, and thus supported the better preparation of students participating in foreign internships and especially school graduates with a wider application on the EU labor market. Teacher education helped to strengthen the professional language skills of students in the form of language teaching in professional subjects by gaining and exchanging experience in the field of international cooperation with teachers from different EU countries. Through the activities in the project, we contributed to the development of concepts for acquiring key competencies in language and professional education. The teachers also achieved a deepening of the European dimension, gained a broader perspective, independence and self-confidence, they got to know a new cultur and they understood social, linguistic and cultural diversity.
Secondary Nursing School Lučenec is an international certified educational institution - International Society, London. It has many years of experience in the implementation of professional interships abroad as part of the Erasmus + program. It belongs to the most modern schools in the field of teaching interactivity. However, our society is increasingly mobile and digital, and therefore new ways of learning are needed. Pupils' limited language competences continue to be one of the main obstacles when using opportunities in the field of education and vocational training. On the contrary, we make use of the possibilities offered by the internal market and also opportunities in other EU countries to provide students with sufficient language competences in CLIL education. Foreign language skills provide competitive advantages and are part of a broader core useful skill set. The mobility of not only pupils, but also teaching staff to EU countries is a great benefit for the further development of the school, as during learning you gain enthusiasm for new knowledge, experience, attitudes, skills and thereby support the development of the school. What is expected is the modernization of the school's curriculum and preparation for international openness. At the European level, through mobile activity, teachers have the opportunity to enrich themselves not only professionally, but also personally. The new orientation of the school will give students the opportunity to work in different health care facilities in another country with a different culture and language, thus developing a sense of European citizenship and identity.
