The foreign internship allowed our students to test their theoretical knowledge and skills in a real working environment.The scope of their knowledge increased, their motivation, level of education, professional language level in increased, they got to know a completely new working environment, which is different from school workshops.They got to know the scope and distribution of work activities within the company, they got to know new technologies that are used when working with agricultural machinery and when repairing cars.Students became a competitive workforce, which enriched the knowledge and skills acquired at school through a foreign internship with skills and experience from the real work environment.The participants acquired new professional knowledge and skills, improved in professional subjects.By establishing themselves in a foreign environment, their professional language skills and independence were developed, which is an integral part of successful employment in the future.They got to know the overall functioning of the company, the division of labor, the work ethic in the given company.By implementing the internship, we wanted to enable students to gain work experience with modern equipment, machines and tools.
Vocational training abroad promotes personal and professional skills of students. Supports the independence and flexibility of students and improves their chances on the job market. These internships are a successful step for building a future career and professionality of students in their course of study. Students will have the opportunity to try themselves out in interesting conditions that will also be present in the future in a common daily practice. For a qualified execution of some professional activities each student acquires during the professional practice a profile with the necessary education and also the ability to apply acquired knowledge and skills alone or in a team. They use their theoretical knowledge to practice procedures to repair and improve the quality of their activities in detecting faults and their removal in different parts of agricultural machinery. Students participating in internships are increasing their range of knowledge, get to know new successful environments, can compare themselves to other European schoolchildren, which can create a new motivation to increase their level of knowledge and increase their applicability in the agricultural sectors home and abroad. So they become a competitive workforce that meets the requirements of modern times and lessons learned abroad enrich their knowledge and skills for future careers. Since our students have the option of professional practice with our contractual partners in our region, resp. in school workshops, they haven`t had possibility so far to work in a vocational training in an international environment that is built on a completely different work culture, using different techniques, technologies, equipment. Communication skills of learners are often at a weaker level in both the mother tongue and the state language, so we want to support the development of their language competencies by placing them on a traineeship in countries where they can use either mother tongue or state language. In addition, their vocabulary and vocabulary in the given language are increased.
