The main goal we set for this project was to make the educational process more attractive and modernized in all three taught fields (fashion design, graphic design, advertising creation), thereby increasing the quality of the educational process in the long term. The specific goals we pursued with this project were: - Support of innovation and modernization of the teaching process in vocational education, especially in the field of fashion design, for which we do not have any computer program for specific clothing creation procedures, - Increasing the quality of the educational content of practical subjects in the latest offered field of advertising creation – specifically by focusing on the creation of animation, for teaching of which we do not have sufficiently qualified teachers, - Teaching traditional artistic techniques (printing, book binding, typesetting), which we do not yet teach at our school due to material and personnel reasons, - Creation of conditions for vocational education of students beyond the content of secondary school education, - Support of the exchange of good teaching practices and processes with colleagues from secondary art schools in the Czech Republic.
We decided to submit this project based on a constant awareness of the current needs of the school – ŠUP Svidník, one of which is minimizing the stagnation of the offered art programs through constant innovation and expanding the content of the individual taught programs. After a personal meeting and an agreement with the receiving organizations, we were able to analyze these needs of ours in more detail and see their possible fulfillment with the help of the technical, material, and personnel equipment of our partners. Another no less important reason for submitting the project application was and is our many years of extremely positive experience with the Erasmus+ program, which over the years has shifted professional and cultural education at our school from a narrowly specific local and national level to an international level, and thus helped our organization to become a school capable of competing with any other secondary school in Europe.
