Objectives

First of all, the project enabled us to better connect theory with practice, as we realize that students at our type of vocational school have less practice. The experience gained allows us to more effectively take into account all the requirements of the current modern European labor market and to constantly improve the training of students both professionally and linguistically. In this way, we can avoid stagnation in teaching, as we transform the acquired knowledge into new, progressive and innovative methods in the preparation of our students. Pupils also improve their communication skills in English, which are also reflected in the results of the matriculation exam. Bilingual students have the opportunity to take the professional state language exam in the English language in the economics department at level C1 in the 5th grade, which is internationally accepted. We are also trying to increase the chances of students to apply for international companies in our region. At the same time, we are also focus on the integration of pupils with special needs and help to pupils from a socially weaker environment, for whom participation in projects is a unique opportunity and an opportunity to advance in their further working life. We also focus on erasing multicultural differences within Europe through their knowledge, understanding and acceptance.

Background

As a school with a long tradition, we are aware of the need for constant modernization of education not only at our school. By participating in Erasmus + projects, we strengthen the quality of the education provided, reflect needs and changes in the labor market, and successfully build cooperation with other schools and companies, including through Erasmus+ projects. For us, these projects are a unique opportunity for our development in the European space, getting to know each other and introducing new methods, let's get inspired, or exchange experiences with the mentors of our students. Like every school, ours is faced with difficult tasks, which we try to solve with the help of experience gained on projects. This is an issue of setting up high-quality school educatioal program (school education programs) for all fields, but especially for our new fields such as dual study, bank worker, integration of pupils with special educational needs, support of pupils from socially disadvantaged backgrounds, improvement of the professional and language competences of pupils and teachers, involvement of as many pupils as possible in projects with the aim of strengthening pupils' and teachers' sense of belonging to the EU, increasing their understanding, tolerance, the ability to think critically and analytically and point out the need for lifelong learning.
