By implementing the project, we wanted to improve and extend the professional knowledge, skills, general and professional competences of the school's students, which they would not have acquired in vocational education at school. To improve the professional training of the students in the conditions of practice at the specialized workplaces of medical facilities in the Czech Republic. To increase the applicability of the graduates on the labor market at home and abroad, to support the personal development of the students, their communication and presentation skills, the possibility to meet new people and get to know new regions. By implementing the project, we tried to maintain the school's competitiveness in the region, improve the school's rating. We assumed the increasing interest in studying in the health field. We intended to maintain and further develop the partnerships with nursing schools and medical facilities abroad.
We joined the project with the goal of further development of the school's international activities, modernization of teaching methods and forms, and improvement of the quality of the educational process at the Secondary Nursing School in Humenné. Through the project, we were able to implement the short-term professional internships of the school's students at the specialized workplaces of medical facilities abroad with the grant support from the European Commission.
