In the implementation of the project we set the following goals in the strategic development plan: 1. Contribute to the fulfillment of the European Union's goal of multilingualism and its recommendation that every EU citizen masters at least two foreign languages (the so-called Barcelona model) at the international level in cooperation with foreign partners. 2. In Slovakia, contribute to changing the approach to learning foreign languages in education by spreading awareness of effective methods and approaches to learning foreign languages, new resources and platforms (websites, applications...), and open, free educational events for the public (LingvaFest, Language Cafes). 3. Promote a policy of broad multilingualism and linguistic equality with the support of various e-learning platforms for language learning, including teaching Esperanto as a propaedeutic basis for more effective teaching of other foreign languages. 4. Contribute to a sense of belonging, solidarity, proactive national and European citizenship, and access to social and community changes for the participants of our events. 5. To improve the management, communication, language, teaching, and technical skills of the organization's members and volunteers participating in its activities.
The project aimed mainly to improve the managerial competencies of workers and to deepen their creative and technical competencies, necessary for the creation of multimedia materials for learning foreign languages, and at the same time to provide foreign partners with our own knowledge and experience in the areas of internet security, creation of educational websites and organization/administration of international events. Based on the basic vision of the Education@Internet organization: "to contribute to a world of peace and harmony in which all citizens can communicate easily around the world" E@I initiates and supports projects with international cooperation, organizes educational and cultural events, informs about the importance and usefulness of barrier-free international communication and implements language teaching with innovative educational forms using modern ICT (e-learning). The basic goal of E@I is to carry out educational activities and events that develop the solidarity of citizens and young people, which motivates them to greater civic involvement and effort to positive changes in society, based on their competencies. The project made all of this possible to improve.
