We wanted to increase the level of knowledge in our organization, modernize and streamline the management of the organization, update educational programs, improve the level of lecturers in English and French, deepen professional competencies, and use computers in language teaching. We thereby provided support for the creation and development of flexible learning offers adapted to the learning needs of adults, for example by creating opportunities within digital learning. We dealt with the validation of skills acquired through informal learning and non-formal education. We wanted to create a path of increasing the level of skills and improving the accessibility of education.
The Society of Friends of the French Language was created as a successor organization after the dissolution of the Alliance Francaise de Lučenec. Our organization is small and its members have little opportunity to travel and gather new experience and knowledge. During the operation of the Alliance Francaise, we had the chance to learn and work on our personal development together with French lecturers who came to us for long-term internships. After this opportunity expired, we decided that our members would travel this time to make our organization more attractive. We decided to submit the project Erasmus +because we felt the need to refresh the organization to make language learning more attractive and accessible to everyone. In particular, we needed to motivate our trainers and show the learners that they could follow suit.
