Under the strategic goal 1 | Increase staff capacity for adult education provision and training | our project objectives were: - Learn about the ‘Integral Approach’ to adult education and lifelong learning - Provide staff with skills, tools, approaches for personal resilience - Equip staff with skills to offer trainings in the ‘Integral Approach’ and up-to-date strategies for psycho-social resilience - Provide staff with up-to-date training on diversity and inclusion Under strategic goal 2 | Acquire innovative learning tools in participatory methodologies to diversify our pedagogical approach | our project objective was to: - Equip staff with skills necessary to engage a variety of learner types with creative and diverse training methodologies Under strategic goal 3 | Increase the quality of training through strategy development and international networking |Our project objectives were: - Equip staff with an understanding of strategic development and theories of change - Gain skills to offer quality training in strategy development and theories of changes - Establish new relationships with other European adult educators and organisations working on inclusivity - Integrate best practices from other EU organisations into strategic development of organisation. - Increase the language proficiency and cultural awareness and sensitivity of our staff.
Saplinq, o.z (SQ) is a civic association founded in 2012, dedicated to the professional and personal development, integration, support and protection of human rights of LGBT+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) people in the Slovak Republic. SQ provides training and educational activities that support LGBT+ initiatives, build and expand networks of mutual support for LGBT+ adult educators in Slovakia, and connect them with wider networks within the EU. We educate and empower LGBT+ community leaders to become active citizens, tackling issues including social exclusion, discrimination, and violence based on homophobia, transphobia or gender expression. We applied for this project to strengthen SaplinQ’s educational provision.
