Objectives of the project were defined as follows: - To continuously develop competences of ZKPRK's members through intensive training activities; - To develop competences of the Board of the ZKPRK in better supporting its membership base; - To introduce new (client-centred) approaches into career guidance and career development discourse in Slovakia; - To develop the quality of ZKPRK’s educational services towards career counsellors; - To strengthen the position and reputation of the Association within the European guidance community - To facilitate networking of Slovak career guidance practitioners with their fellow colleagues from other European countries and to promote peer learning and peer exchange; - To increase awareness of ZKPRK members and the whole Slovak national guidance community about the European dimension of career guidance;
The Slovak Association for Career Guidance and Career Development (ZKPRK) applied for this project with the aim of providing its members (career guidance practitioners and professionals) with transnational training and networking opportunties. This aim fits into a wider (continuous) mission of the Assocation to develop its internal capacities, strengthen its international reputation, and to improve the professionalisation of career guidance in Slovakia.
