Objectives

As we said before, we make efforts to improve and bring a better quality to vocational education and training provided by our school permanently. It is also important to us to keep up with a very dynamic development in the labour market. Participants of mobilities have a chance to spend some useful time at real work places in foreign environment, teachers can observe teaching process at our partners´ schools. Later we analyze individual outcomes, make interviews and evaluation of participants that provides us with valuable information to be used to update the curricula and enrich our lessons. Experiences brought by teachers from job shadowing activities are transerred into updating education aiming to support professional development of all our teachers. We also would like to highlight our efforts to improve communication in foreign languages whilst transnational mobilities have been a great motivation not only to study the language but to use it in real situations from the point of view of teachers and students as well. The project helped us meet strategies for internalization of the school.

Background

The concept of school development includes improving the VET quality as well as enhancing professional, social, soft skills and competences of our students and teachers. Regarding the transnational activities of the project this was understood as a proper tool to meet those ambitions. Cooperation with foreign partners opens enough space to find the right direction in the labour market in the context of European countries, it helps us keep up with the dynamic labour market and in national point of view it makes us a leader in a competition with schools that are not active in the field of such projects. This project also was continuation of a series of projects from previous years, it expanded our European portfolio and brought a nice survey about happenings in sectors of administration, economy, marketing and accounting. Considering school legislation in force, international mobilities and their impacts are a proper tool to create updating education and professional development of teachers, reflecting our real needs.
