Our goal was the involvement of our school in the international project, the development of international cooperation, the adaptability of our students and employees to the EU labor market. By implementing the project, we wanted to achieve the goals of our strategy of internationalization. Our goal was to improve the professional and language skills of students and school employees. The goal was to acquire new educational outputs - knowledge, skills and competences - beyond the scope of the school education program. For the employees, the goal was to improve the quality of education in the sending organization with the acquired new competencies, to innovate their teaching hours, the school's educational program, and the organization of teaching. We wanted all participants to acquire "soft" life skills, cooperation in an international environment, tolerance, gaining self-confidence, independence. We also wanted to support the EU orientation of our school and increase the opportunities for our students to get a job in their study/professional field in the EU.
Project "Improving working skills in EU IV." was continuation of the implementation of the European internationalization plan of our school. Based on long-term good experience with the implementation of Erasmus + projects and the acquired Charter in VET we continued with this project. We got involved, because we consider the implementation of foreign mobilities to be beneficial for the development of our students, teachers and for the progress of our school. For a long time we have been trying to ensure that our school gradually and systematically acquires a European dimension. The project enabled us to implement mobilities during which the participants gained experience, competencies and skills that we cannot provide them neither in the conditions of our school nor in the conditions of the Slovak Republic. Through the implementation of the project we gave to our students and teachers the experience of working abroad. We also developed the cooperation of our school with our new and also long-term foreign partners. We joined Erasmus + project with the aim to achieve improvement of professional and language skills for students and employees of our school.
